Thursday nights at Wayfarer in Tazewell are about to become an experience not to be missed in Southwest Virginia. Unlike any other Open Mic Night you have been to, get ready for up-and-coming talent of all ages, original music, all-time favorite covers, and some surprises that even we don’t know about.

Artist Sign-up & Rules

To be CONSIDERED to play, complete this form between 12:00p - 3:00p on Thursday to play that night. Complete ALL fields and include A LINK TO A LIVE PERFORMANCE. You will be notified by 4:30p if you have been chosen to play and in what order you are expected to perform.

*Please do NOT send additional questions, as they will not be responded to.

*Completing the form DOES NOT guarantee you will be chosen to play. The final lineup is for the best of the best and is at the discretion of management.

To Be Considered to Play

Please review the instructions above. Just so you know – only artists who follow the instructions will be considered for the opportunity.

The show starts at 7:00 pm with the first artist on the list. Each artist is able to play three (3) three-minute songs or two (2) songs that are longer than four minutes, not exceeding ten (10) minutes. We are unable to take requests for certain open mic spots. Our management team reserves the right to remove names from the list as they see fit.

Artists must bring their own guitars or other stringed instruments. We will have three vocal mics and three DIs. Set-up time is limited to 5 minutes.

Being added to the list DOES NOT automatically reserve the artist a table. Tickets for table seating must be purchased separately on our website. All guests of artists are required to purchase a standing room ticket if they do not have table seating.
