Matt grew up in Welch, WV, the heart of McDowell County, before moving to Bluefield as a teenager. He spent nearly 15 years in Radio, producing commercials & talk shows, even hosting one of his own “What’s Next” which won Best Talk Show twice from the WV Broadcasters Association.

But since he was a teen, he’s never been able to stop playing music & writing songs. After 20+ years of playing his show has developed into a unique spectacle of sounds. One man with a guitar, phone mic, loop pedal, bunch of weird gadgets, and a slightly damaged sense of humor performing a mix from his deep catalog of songs. Featuring ditties from his 2 EPs released in 2025 (Sad Dad Dance Party & Sad Dad Baggage) and his 2024 album (Drunken Belligerent Forget-Me-Nots), along with some super deep cuts, unreleased songs from his next album, & random stories, jokes, & lore.
